The test begins...

So our long-awaited result got announced yesterday, and it's amazing that most of us cleared that veritable terror. First and foremost: Heartiest congratulations to those who made it through. You guys should be proud of yourselves (don't let that get over your heads, though).

This post, however, is intended for those who couldn't make it through. There are always ups and downs in life, and we cannot a smooth ride. It's always going to be tumultuous.






If you didn't pass a subject, that does not mean the end of the world. Remember that failure is never absolute. The wisest and the greatest are those who committed mistakes, and learnt from them. You need to do that too.

This is just another test of your perseverance from Allah. In fact, this is the test. Giving up now is not an option. Now is the time to rethink and perform well.

Remember: failing a test, or even an exam, does not really count in the long run. We are going to become docs, and we need to realise it now: we are going to have to save lives. Better to retake an exam than fail in saving someone's life. Every little thing makes you more wise, more practical.

 Everyone fails sometimes, and probably it's all for the best. It might be a means of saving you from a grievous error: pride.

So that's it for you: trust in Allah, take a deep breath, and just work hard. Make sure this failure is your last. Try hard, and there is no one who can stop you!
