How To Apply For House Job
I am assuming
everyone is as lost as me, and if you are not then shame on you XD you could
have written this blog ages ago for us ;-;
So anyways I am going to try to explain the process of
application for housejob (KEMU/MAYO)
It consists of three steps mainly:
1.
Getting a provisional
certificate from KE (it a piece of paper used til the degree is issued, stating
you graduated from your institute)
2.
Getting a PMDC provisional certification
for House job (it states that you can now perform HJ)
3.
Actually applying for the
housejob
Since I like to
utilise my time, I prefer getting all my documents ready in one go. That list
is given below. However, if you plan to take each step as it comes, I will be
mentioning the required documents (the ones I know of) along with each step.
FROM HOME
1. Around 5 copies of all the DMCs
(get 4 sets attested from someone beforehand, one set will be attested by
the VC)
2. Around 5 copies of your matric and FSc certificate or ‘sanad’
(get 4 sets attested from someone beforehand, one set will be attested by the
VC)
3. 1-2 Attested copies of your domicile
4. About 10-12 Passport sized photographs on a WHITE background WITH
YOUR EARS SHOWING because they need to make sure we are not elephants (get 3-6
attested from the back, 3 will be attested by the VC- one from the front which
will be pasted on the form and two from the back)
5. One Affidavit for which I will attach the format here.
FROM KEMCAANA /Your own
Printer/ Your own pen
1. 1 application that you have to write to the VC for the provisional
certificate ( I will try to attach its format as well)
FROM CAFÉ
2. 1 application for House job (you can get it from the café, I will
also attach a copy here)
3. 3 copies of the clearance certificate. You have to
get all three signed from every respective place. One will be attached to the
provisional certificate
EXAM BRANCH OR STUDENT
SECTION
1. Provisional certificate and student PMDC registration form ( part 1
of the process. The student PMDC registration form is actually the form you
submitted at the time of the admission and has your undergraduate registration
number. It will be returned to you now hopefully)
2. Get an attempt certificate made
(it is required for the actual house job application and will be made after the
provisional certificate is made. A separate application is needed for that
which requires a copy of provisional certificate as well. You can do this once
you have sent in your form to PMDC) - afterthought: they dont make it while the provisional certificate thing is being done so you can either wait for it to be over for everyone and then apply or :

3. Get a distinction certificate
made as well (you wont need it for this process but you will need it later, it
will require a form from the exam branch and you will have to submit 100 rupees
for it)- again you will have to wait for this
TOTAL MONEY REQUIRED:
1.
200 for provisional certificate
2.
200 for attempt certificate
3.
1000 for attestation of PMDC
form and documents
4.
100 for distinction certificate
(if you are getting it)
5.
Hostel dues clearance if you
have any remaining dues
- every hostellite has to pay some money at the end, for us it was around 3600
mess bill clearance if you have an account

All above need separate challan
forms to be submitted to Bank of Punjab, bank square branch)

500 fee for PMDC form on
regular basis (add 150 if you want them to TCS you the certificate)

STARTING WITH THE PROCESS:
STEP 1- Getting a provisional

Things you need:
1.

respective people)- approx. one day of zalalat ( the sequence I propose is
start with
-LWH then hostel, MS Mayo hospital (MS doesnt sign, Nasir sahb hotay upstairs MS office wali jaga pe, he does, Pharma (director physical education), Cashier, Library, cafe) It looks something like this when it is done:

Challan form 200 rs
4.
Attach attested copies of CNIC,
Matric, FSc certificate, domicile, DMCS, 2 pics attested from the back.
And a form given by room number 2 that you have to fill and attach with all the documents. It looks like this :

Submit all of this to sattar
sahb in room number 2.
He will send you upstairs to get it diaried and signed from the registrar office. Then you bring it back and submit. This will account for one day of zalalat approx.
He will ask you to come back after two days.

Now you will get the application you submitted alongwith your provisional certificate. You have to take them both to room number 1 and get a diary number on it by them (bottom left of the form)which they will also enter in their register. Then you go back to sattar sahb who will stamp the certificate for you. Then you write " received provisional certificate", your name and cell number on the application like so (bottom right of form)

Get it laminated and get some photocopies of it as well
PMDC student registration form that we submitted in the start of
first year will be given back to us. It looks like this :
So you get this, fill it up. Get it signed and stamped from sattar sahb and then get 2 copies for the pmdc form and some additional copies for yourself. Then you have to submit it back to them.

STEP 2 – APPLY FOR PMDC
Things you need
1.
Filled form of PMDC (link in
the article above)
2.
Challan form of 1000Rs (the one
mentioned above)
3.
Bank draft of 500 Rs (or more
accordingly ) for the pmdc account
4.
Documents mentioned in the form
Attach the
documents to the form, take the 1000 fee voucher to vc/registrar office. They
will attest the documents and will get the form signed by VC.
Now you send these
documents with the filled form and bank draft to PMDC via TCS or go to
Islamabad or Lahore centre and do it yourself. If you are going to the office yourself, you do not need the bank
draft. You will just pay at the bank counter there at the office.
After this you will
receive your PMDC registration within 1-2 weeks via tcs.
STEP 3- APPLY FOR HOUSE JOB
Things you need
1.
Filled application for housejob

Submit these and
then wait for the interviews 😊
TIP: Don’t do this alone. Get your
friends together and have fun while waiting to make it more bearable. And then
plan a trip to Islamabad with your friends to get your pmdc registration as
well xD

clearance kaha chahye xD also if I made a mistake please correct it, im not
100% sure about this. Im just sharing what I know. Hope it helped.
